    Description

    An original, full-sized First World War era War Merit Cross
    (Croce Merito de Guerra)
    from the Kingdom of Italy. First established in 1918, this is a pre-WW2 medal, as can be seen by the Royal Logo on the reverse side of the medal. This is an original, period issue medal with ribbon. There is no engraving or serial number. The medal shows honest age, with mild soiling to the ribbon and natural oxidation to the pendant, but no serious damage.
