*** If you own a Ultra 300X or 310X JetSki, you MUST read below ***
Note 1: DO NOT ride your ski without this filter! Water/moisture will get inside your engine and slowly but surely will corrode and destroy it. Kawasaki would NOT waste money installing this filter for no good reason.
Note 2: Change this filter every 50-75 hours depending where (fresh or salt water) and how hard (recreation or racing) you ride. If you don't change in time, the center honeycomb element section of the filter will eventually fall out and get stuck inside the waterbox (aka muffler). Once it's stuck, it's almost impossible to get it out without cutting the waterbox in half.
