Green Glue Compound is an award winning damping compound used between two rigid materials such as drywall, wood, and other similar materials. Although there are a couple other damping adhesive brands on the market, Green Glue Compound has consistently rated higher than the competition in every tested wall construction.
Independent lab tests prove that just one layer of Green Glue Compound between two layers of drywall or other similar building material will achieve an STC rating that will satisfy even the most stringent building codes. It is perfect for residential and commercial use and is just as easy to use in new construction as it is on existing walls or in renovation projects. In addition, Green Glue Compound has been validated for use in any fire rated assembly according to the International Building Code. It also does not contribute to mold growth, is low V.O.C., and has almost no odor. Green Glue Compound can be easily cleaned up while still wet with soap and water.
Installation and Green Glue Dispensing Gun
Green Glue Compound from five gallon buckets can be applied using a Green Glue Dispensing Gun or a 1/8" square notched trowel.
We do not sell Green Glue Compound Dispensing Guns through eBay auctions because we only offer dispensing guns to customers that also purchase Green Glue Compound. This is a requirement that is impossible to enforce on eBay. So if you would like to purchase a dispensing gun with your order of Green Glue Compound then add per dispensing gun (typically just one gun) to the payment for the order and include a note for us to ship a Green Glue Dispensing Gun with your order.

Coverage Comparison
Supreme:
3 tubes per 4' x 8' sheet or 1 tube per 10 square feet, will provide no audible improvement in STC ranges over the Normal coverage option, but it will provide a roughly 40% increase in low frequencies over the Normal coverage option. Supreme coverage is useful in home theaters, recording studios, and band practice areas when a high level of performance in low frequencies is required.
Normal:
2 tubes per 4' x 8' sheet or 1 tube per 16 square feet, is the recommended coverage amount for most sound isolation projects. Normal coverage yields great results in both STC ratings (high frequency) and OITC ratings (low frequency). Normal coverage is the coverage used in all Green Glue Compound tests available online.
Good:
1 tube per 4' x 8' sheet or 1 tube per 32 square feet, is a cost effective solution for sound isolation problems. The performance of this coverage amount is about 35% less than results provided by Normal coverage, but Good coverage still outperforms products like sound board, homasote, and resilient channel. This option is definitely worth considering if you are on a tight budget, but still want a higher level of performance than other options.

Sales Tax
Any orders shipped to an address within the state of Idaho are subject to a sales tax rate of 6%. All other orders are exempt from sales tax.
Shipping
Same Day Shipping
We ship this product via FedEx Ground from our Idaho or Georgia stocking locations. Each five gallon bucket of Green Glue Compound ships free to the main 48 states. Shipping charges will be assessed for orders to Hawaii and Alaska. The order cutoff time for same day shipping is 3 PM ET for customers on the eastern half of the United States and 3 PM MT for customers on the western half of the United States.
Order Pickup
Pickup is available for our products, but the order must be placed and paid for before picking up. Our distribution locations cannot accept payment or process your order. After using the Buy It Now feature for the auction you will be directed to the PayPal payment page. A shipping option of 'Pickup' for {{detail_product_description}} will be available. Finalize payment with this shipping method selected and we will forward you the pickup information within the hour. The Green Glue Five Gallon Buckets are available for pickup in Meridian, Idaho and Pooler, Georgia.
Freight Shipments
Orders of significant weight will occasionally ship via freight for an easier delivery and to protect the products during transit. These shipments require signature at delivery and inspection by the recipient for any damaged or lost product. All damage or lost product must be noted at delivery for Sound Isolation Store to file a claim on the recipient's behalf with the freight carrier. Failure to inform the driver of damaged or lost product will limit our claim to 33% of the value of the damaged or lost product.
International Shipping
We will not ship any of our products to any location outside of the United States.
Product Returns
Return Policy
You can return any product purchased from our auction within 30 days of ordering. A restocking fee will be assessed for each return (maximum 15% of the original product purchase price).
Return Process
To initiate a return, please notify us of your intent by email or through the eBay message service. Include your order number, name, and what you would like to return. We will provide you with the appropriate shipping labels with full insurance and tracking for your product return. Return shipping fees will be deducted from the amount refunded. This means you are responsible for all return shipping costs. Please write your name and order number on the outside of any box you return to us. This will eliminate errors associated with issuing a return.
Refund Process
A refund will be credited back to your original method of payment, and will post approximately two days after the date of processing. Most returns will process in approximately two to three days from receipt of product, depending on the complexity of the return. Shipping charges assessed during the original order will not be refunded.
Incorrect or Damaged Items
If you receive an incorrect or damaged product, please notify us immediately. We will promptly ship out a replacement or issue a refund for the cost of the damaged or incorrect product. Photographs of the damage are always helpful to begin the claims process with our shipping carrier.
