Green Glue Sealant (SilenSeal) is a water based, no VOC acoustic sealant developed and manufactured by the Green Glue Company. Green Glue Sealant was designed to be a user friendly, very high performance acoustical sealant. Green Glue Sealant is used to seal edges and joints and under the base plate to prevent noise leaks whereas Green Glue Compound is used in between layers of drywall. Green Glue Sealant is not your basic silicone or latex caulk. You will notice a dramatic difference between this product and others during use in your sound isolation project.
When comparing prices with other acoustical sealant and with regular caulk, it is important to compare the size of tubes as well as function and usability. Some will say to just use silicone caulk because it performs the same. For cost comparison, silicone caulk costs 20% (includes shipping costs as well) more than Green Glue Sealant and is packaged in tubes less than half the size. Green Glue Sealant is packaged in 28 ounce tubes that fit with quart sized caulking guns-the same sized tubes that Green Glue Compound is packaged in. Installation
Green Glue Sealant from tubes is applied using a quart sized caulking gun. This is a larger caulking gun that is available for purchase at any hardware store for about . Application of Green Glue Sealant is similar to basic caulks. Keep a 1/4" bead on your caulking tube nozzle, fill in any gaps on your surface, then wipe smooth.
Estimating Product
Green Glue Sealant can be difficult to estimate as the size of gaps and depth of gaps can vary greatly. As a general rule of thumb you can figure each tube will cover about 85 linear feet of gaps.

We ship this product via FedEx Ground from our Idaho or Georgia stocking locations. Each case of Green Glue Sealant costs to ship to the main 48 states.
Same Day Shipping
Most of our products ship same day from our stocking locations unless otherwise noted on the product page. The order cutoff time for same day shipping is 3 PM ET for customers on the eastern half of the United States and 3 PM MT for customers on the western half of the United States.
Order Pickup
Pickup is available for our products, but the order must be placed and paid for before picking up. Our distribution locations cannot accept payment or process your order. After using the Buy It Now feature for the auction you will be directed to the PayPal payment page. A shipping option of 'Pickup' for {{detail_product_description}} will be available. Finalize payment with this shipping method selected and we will forward you the pickup information within the hour. The Green Glue Noiseproofing Sealant cases are available for pickup in Salt Lake City, Utah and Pooler, Georgia.
Freight Shipments
Orders of significant weight will occasionally ship via freight for an easier delivery and to protect the products during transit. These shipments require signature at delivery and inspection by the recipient for any damaged or lost product. All damage or lost product must be noted at delivery for IsoStore to file a claim on the recipient's behalf with the freight carrier. Failure to inform the driver of damaged or lost product will limit our claim to 33% of the value of the damaged or lost product.
International Shipping
We will not ship any of our products to any location outside of the United States.
Product Returns
Return Policy
You can return any product purchased from our auction within 30 days of ordering. A restocking fee will be assessed for each return (maximum 15% of the original product purchase price).
Return Process
To initiate a return, please notify us of your intent by email or through the eBay message service. Include your order number, name, and what you would like to return. We will provide you with the appropriate shipping labels with full insurance and tracking for your product return. Return shipping fees will be deducted from the amount refunded. This means you are responsible for all return shipping costs. Please write your name and order number on the outside of any box you return to us. This will eliminate errors associated with issuing a return.
Refund Process
A refund will be credited back to your original method of payment, and will post approximately two days after the date of processing. Most returns will process in approximately two to three days from receipt of product, depending on the complexity of the return. Shipping charges assessed during the original order will not be refunded.
Incorrect or Damaged Items
If you receive an incorrect or damaged product, please notify us immediately. We will promptly ship out a replacement or issue a refund for the cost of the damaged or incorrect product. Photographs of the damage are always helpful to begin the claims process with our shipping carrier.
